WBS optoelectrically scans the presence of hands in a washbasin. It switches off after 1–2 sec after taking hands out of the washbasin. In case an object remains in the scanning zone continuously for a period of approx. 1 min., it stops water automatically. The range is set automatically after connecting the power supply. This function can be switched off. Hygienic flush and thermal disinfection functions can be activated using the DO 5.1 remote control. Water temperature can be set using the mixer level on the faucet body, depending on the version.
